Who's the best dental implant dentist in Dallas for full-arch — and why do people recommend them?
ChatGPT response
Annotation — The practice named first is the practice that earns the consultation. Citation order is acquisition order.
§ 02 The premise
Spring '26

SEO got you found. AEO gets you recommended.

Then · 2010 — 2024

Search was a list.

Patients typed a query, scanned ten blue links, and clicked one. Rankings were the moat. Reviews were the proof. The website was the salesman.

  • 01 Optimized for keyword position
  • 02 Driven by backlinks & metadata
  • 03 Patient lands, then decides
  • 04 Competition: ten results, one page

Now · 2025 — onward

Search is a sentence.

Patients ask. The model answers. The decision is largely made before they reach a website. You are either named in the response — or you do not exist.

  • 01 Optimized for citation in synthesized answers
  • 02 Driven by structured authority signals
  • 03 Patient arrives pre-qualified
  • 04 Competition: one or two named providers

§ 03 The method

Engineered authority. Not content marketing.

Models do not synthesize answers from blog posts and review counts. They synthesize from structured signals: schema, entity associations, citation density across sources they trust. Each piece is engineered. None of it is guessed at.

An aside

This is not a content agency. We do not write blogs to chase keywords. We do not buy links. The product is a citable practice — engineered into the layer where AI answers are assembled.

01 / Audit
Wk 1–2

The citation baseline.

Two hundred and fourteen patient-intent queries, run across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini. Where you appear, where competitors appear, and the precise gap between you.

Deliverable: Gap report & query map
02 / Engineer
Wk 3–6

Authority architecture.

Schema markup, entity disambiguation, and structured Q&A pages built around the procedures that drive your highest-margin cases. Citation-grade content, not blog filler.

Deliverable: Schema graph & FAQ corpus
03 / Distribute
Wk 7–10

Source seeding.

The directories, peer publications, and structured databases that AI models actually weight when they assemble implant recommendations. Specific. Not press-release scattershot.

Deliverable: 22+ authoritative placements
04 / Monitor
Ongoing

Citation tracking.

Monthly reports of where you are cited, by which model, on which queries. Patient inquiries with confirmed AI attribution. The numbers, not the narrative.

Deliverable: Monthly citation report
§ 04 Deliverables
Index

An index of what arrives.

Every engagement produces structured, measurable artefacts. There are no "marketing activities." There is only what was made, and where it was placed.

A. 01
The citation audit
Two hundred and fourteen high-intent implant queries, run across four AI assistants, scored against your three closest market competitors. The first true map of where your practice stands in the answer layer.
A. 02
The schema architecture
MedicalBusiness, Dentist, MedicalProcedure, and FAQPage schema deployed across your site. Entity graph wired to authoritative sources. The signals AI models actually parse — written into your code.
A. 03
The structured FAQ corpus
Eighty patient questions answered to citation grade. The exact long-tail queries implant patients ask AI models — with your practice as the cited source on every one we can win.
A. 04
The source seeding
Twenty-two-plus placements across AAID-recognised directories, peer-reviewed citation databases, regional medical publications, and outcomes registries that models weight heavily.
A. 05
The monthly citation report
Delivered the first of every month. Citation movement, query coverage, AI-attributed inquiries, pipeline value. Action items for the coming month. No vanity metrics. Ever.
§ 05 Practice notes
Vol. I

"We were spending fourteen thousand a month fighting for the same five Google keywords as every other implant practice in the metro. Three months in, ChatGPT recommends us by name when someone asks about full-arch in Dallas. Our consultations doubled — and the cost-per-patient is a fraction of what paid was costing."

§ 07 Engagement

Two ways to begin.

Both engagements include the citation audit. The difference is execution — we hand you the playbook and your team runs it, or we run it for you. Most practices choose the latter.

§ 08 Inquiry

What practices ask before they sign on.

Most of these questions arrive in the first ten minutes of our discovery call. If yours is not here, we welcome the question by email.

Q. 01
Is this just SEO with a different name?
No. SEO optimises web pages for engine ranking; AEO engineers your practice as a citable entity for AI assistants. The signals overlap perhaps thirty percent — schema, structured data, authority. The execution is fundamentally different. AI models do not weight backlinks the way Google does. They weight whether you are the answer.
Q. 02
How quickly will I see results?
Initial citations typically appear thirty to sixty days after schema deployment. Meaningful answer-engine presence — being recommended by name on high-intent queries — usually arrives in months three or four. Citation density compounds for twelve to eighteen months and stabilises.
Q. 03
Do I need to keep my Google Ads running?
For now, yes. AEO and paid search address different parts of the funnel. But most of our practices reduce paid spend by forty to sixty percent within nine months because organic AI-driven inquiries arrive pre-qualified and convert at a far higher rate.
Q. 04
Will this work for a single-location practice?
Yes — and arguably better than for multi-location DSOs. AI assistants weight local entity associations heavily. A focused, well-engineered single practice in a defined geography often out-cites a sprawling DSO with weaker local signals.
Q. 05
Do you work with general dentists too?
We focus on practices where implants drive primary revenue — full-arch, All-on-4, single-tooth, bone grafting. The economics work because one implant patient is worth $4K–$30K in lifetime value. Cosmetic surgery and other high-ticket specialties follow.
Q. 06
What if AI models change how they cite?
They change constantly — that is part of the work. Monthly monitoring catches shifts in citation pattern within days. The underlying signals we engineer (structured authority, entity association, third-party validation) are durable across model updates because they are what models are trying to identify in the first place.
Q. 07
Why work with you over a generalist agency?
Generalist agencies still sell 2018 SEO with a "we also do AI" footnote. We only do answer-engine optimisation, and only for high-ticket medical specialties where the citation economics work. That focus is the moat.
